First European Day of Artisanal Gelato

Officially established on July 5th by the European Parliament in Strasbourg - 387 Members of Parliament have signed up to the initiative - the first European Day of Artisanal Gelato is scheduled for March 24th and is a great opportunity to promote one of the most popular products, not only in Europe but throughout the world: gelato. Promoted by Artglace, the Confederation of European ice-cream maker associations, the event is the first dedicated to a product in the European agro-food industry and will see the creation of a full program of initiatives carried out at the same time as well as in Italy and in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Spain, Argentina, Canada, United Kingdom, Poland and Greece, to clearly communicate to consumers the values of gelato.
Here following the guide lines.
In every country in Europe and elsewhere participating in the initiative was published the logo that will mark the event, in the respective language.
The ice cream makers participating in the initiative will create that day a special taste to celebrate the event: it will be a Fior di Latte variegated with chocolate and caramelized almonds and will be called "Fantasy  of Europe". The price of a cup of ice cream will be the same throughout  Europe: Artglace has created promotional material dedicated to this event. It will be created a special postmark.
The logo of the Day is available, upon request, to all the realities to disclose the event and everyone is free to organize itself as it sees fit. The only one constraint is that everything must relate exclusively to the artisanal gelato production.
